CAMEL TRAINING SCHOOL AND WORKSHOP

~ May 15 & 16, 2004 (starting at approx. 9 A.M.)~

 Camel Training School

To be held at our ranch in Winchester, CA. We are located about 25 miles south of Riverside, just off the 215 freeway. Bring your camel for some hands on experience. This event is geared toward young camels, but a select few adults will be accepted. You need to talk to Bill Rivers before bringing a camel. You MUST let us know in advance if you plan on bringing a camel. Come to observe or come to participate with your camel. Work with some of the top trainers in the country. A rare opportunity! Plan to attend!

  • Training to koosh
  • Picking up the feet
  • Introducing a saddle
  • Trailer loading
  • Riding
  • Driving
  • Round (or square) table discussions
  • Grooming and washing
  • Giving praise
  • Riding equipment
*Equipment for sale.

Come to observe-$100 a day per person

Come to participate- $200 a day for 1 camel and handler.

Cash and personal checks accepted (sorry, no credit cards)
Payment can be made upon arrival.

Overnight campers welcome! BBQ Sunday evening.
